Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel is excited to announce the opening of the Belvedere, a beautiful garden space licensed for wedding ceremonies in the countryside city of Salisbury.
Following the complete renovation of the hotel’s event rooms and creation of the beautiful light-filled Orangery in 2017, the Grade II-listed Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel has licensed the charming garden space for wedding ceremonies. Couples can now marry against the backdrop of Salisbury Cathedral, surrounded by the Wiltshire meadows and with the River Avon quietly trickling past. Brides will make their way from the Orangery space along the picturesque path to join their loved one at the ornate Belvedere, where they will be married by a licensed registrar.
A Belvedere structure is romantically known as a pavilion that enjoys a spectacular view – rather fitting as Legacy Rose & Crown’s Belvedere is surrounded by landscaped grounds and scenic vistas.
Derek McNeill, general manager at Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel comments on the new licensed wedding space, “We are so delighted to now offer our couples the option of marrying under our licensed Belvedere. Situated in our sun-soaked gardens, the structure is a perfectly-placed ceremony space for weddings any time of the year. The wedding team here has been excitedly showing the licensed space to couples viewing our lovely hotel and we’ve had fantastic feedback.”
