The winter series at Wychwood Park Hotel & Golf Club

Wychwood Park Hotel & Golf Club presents its winter series golf competition; a unique series of six competitions whereby professional and amateur golfers compete together in the same tournament.

The format of the event is pairs Betterball Stableford, played over 18 holes on the top-class golf club’s Championship USPGA greens. The best four scores from the six events for each player will also be used to decide the 2018/2019 Order of Merit Champion.

The 18-hole golf course, with its newly-upgraded clubhouse, is widely regarded as one of the premier inland courses in the north of England. Its 7,213 yards of Championship tees provide the ultimate challenge for golfers, while its location in the rolling countryside of Cheshire offers spectacular views, most recently seen in Sky Sports coverage of The Ablrate.com Championship, the annual PGA EuroPro tour held at the club.

Recent improvements have been made in and around the clubhouse to enhance guests’ experience and the dedicated green keepers are working hard to uphold quality, going into the winter months.

The entry fee for the winter series is £45 per pair and players will receive coffee, tea and bacon rolls upon arrival, before making their way out to play the 18-hole competition. Plus, a minimum of 70% of each entry fee will be entered into a prize draw for the lucky winners. Available dates for the winter series competition are; 26 October, 23 November, 28 December, 25 January, 22 February and 29 March.
